Glaucoma is a challenging disease that often leads to blindness.
In this lecture, we will review recent advancements in the treatment of glaucoma, first reviewing new topical medications followed by discussing advances in surgical treatment, including laser therapies and
implants.
We will conclude by discussing current research on treatment of glaucoma using gene and/or cell
therapy.
