Focus Referrals is a single specialist ophthalmology referral service based in Banbury, Oxfordshire.

We have recently moved to a purpose-built clinic where we offer personal, high quality referrals to our local veterinary surgeons. We are committed to the ongoing education and training of upcoming veterinary ophthalmologists and hope to gain approval for an ECVO residency.

Focus requires an experienced veterinary surgeon with a keen interest in ophthalmology (ideally a certificate holder or someone enrolled on their certificate) to work closely with the specialist to facilitate expansion of our services as a 12-month contract.

Excellent communication and client skills are essential with the additional ability to work well within a team. Experience in general practice preferred.

The Ralph is an independent multidisciplinary referral centre in Marlow, Bucks, west of London. We have recently had our second birthday!

Our current Ophthalmology Intern is making plans for new pastures. We are looking to appoint an Ophthalmology Intern for 12 months to join our team, which comprises one ECVO Diplomate, one ECVO board-eligible ophthalmologist and two ECVO residents, and two ophthalmology nurses.

The Clinic of Small Animal Surgery and Reproduction at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, Germany, is offering a position to be filled immediately for an Academic Advisor (m/f) (Akademische Rätin / Akademischen Rat) with the function of a Scientific Assistant (m/f) in a full-time position. The employment will be remunerated according to Bes.Gr. (salary class) A 13. Appropriate conditions provided also A 14.

For the position a license to practice Veterinary Medicine in Germany (Approbation) is required as well as the board-certified status of a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Ophthalmology (ECVO).

Generally, we expect an applicant who is a good team player with dedication and personal commitment to clinical work, good organisational and communication skills as well as interest in scientific work and enjoying lecture and teaching students and young veterinarians.

The field of duties includes the practical work in small animal ophthalmology, the establishment and supervision of a Residency-Programme as well as the active cooperation in research and the general educational tasks of the clinic.

Good German language skills spoken and in writing are a condition for being accepted.
