Full Time Ophthalmologist at Park Vet Group (Leicester, UK)

Park Veterinary Group is a well-established successful practice in Leicester.  Our Ophthalmology department is looking for a 3rd full time colleague to join our referral ophthalmology team alongside our two Advanced Practitioners.

We offer an ophthalmology referral service to practices across the East Midlands, including phacoemulsification, and are based in a 24-hour hospital practice which also offers referrals for surgery and diagnostic imaging.

The position would suit someone holding or studying towards a certificate in ophthalmology and Advanced Practitioner status, who wants to work in a friendly, supportive team and develop their skills.

Combined Ophthalmology/Anaesthesia Internship at Langford Vets (Bristol, UK)

“Langford Vets, University of Bristol is accepting applications for a Junior Clinician in Ophthalmology and Anaesthesia (specialty internship in both areas). The individual will spend approximately half of the week shadowing ECVO diploma-lead ophthalmology service (Savina Gogova -DVM DipECVO MRCVS), with client facing and patient care responsibilities. The remaining half of the week will be embedded within ECVAA specialist led anaesthesia department (Paul Macfarlane – BVSc CertVA DipECVAA FRCVS). Both allocations involve opportunities to develop knowledge and technical skills in these areas and would suit an individual wanting to develop further in their career path towards specialisation in anaesthesia or ophthalmology. Support for attending a specialist-oriented congress is included as well as tutorship for scientific publication.

Interested applicants must note this is a 12-month fixed term position. The annual salary for this role is £27,650.
